TRANSFERS

Being close to the city, the transfer from / to the airport is easy and can be done by:

  • TRAIN
    • direct connection to the city’s main station (Gara de Nord);
    • the journey is about 20 minutes;
    • the trains leave every 20 minutes;
    • the ticket costs 6 RON (~1.2 EUR) and can be paid by VISA/MasterCard in the train;
    • at the airport, the station is located in front of the “Arrivals” terminal.
  • BUS
    • line 100 – it connects the airport to the city center;
    • the full journey takes 45-60 minutes (depending on the moment of the day);
    • the buses leave every 15 minutes (during the day) and 30 minutes (during the night);
    • the ticket costs 3 RON / 90 minutes (~0.6 EUR) and can be paid either by VISA/MasterCard/SMS in the bus, or via dedicated phone apps;
    • at the airport, the station is located in front of the “Arrivals” terminal (ground level).
  • TAXI
    • inside the “Arrivals” terminal, a series of “taxi calling machines” can be found – only these machines can be used, in order to benefit from an authorized taxi service;
    • once you have the confirmation ticket, the taxi will stop in front of the “Arrivals” terminal;
    • the total price depends on the total distance and time spent in traffic.
  • RIDE-SHARING
    • uber / Bolt are available, using the same dedicated app you usually use;
    • the pick-up points / area are shown in the app;
    • the total price is communicated by the app.
